Implementation
Every rollout includes a real implementation.
One-time implementation covers workflow discovery, configuration, security and access setup, validation, training, go-live support, and a stabilization period. It is mandatory and priced separately from the subscription, so you always see both numbers.
Integration, historical migration, multi-site complexity, onsite services, and custom scope change the final quote — an Enterprise rollout with multiple interfaces, hospitals, or extensive validation is quoted under a statement of work.
Production interfaces, SSO, extensive migration, onsite services, and custom development are not included in standard Clinic or Department implementation unless the proposal expressly includes them.
Standard implementation: one location, standard configuration, active-order import within a documented cap, up to 10 users, remote training, go-live support, and 30-day stabilization. Complex clinic scope is quoted separately.
Base deployment fee: one contracted department or site, workflow discovery and configuration, roles/templates/readiness rules/equipment/authorization setup within documented limits, remote training, two standard UAT cycles, go-live support, and 30-day stabilization.
Scoped by statement of work: sites, interfaces, identity, migration, validation, training, rollout complexity, and 90-day stabilization. Multiple interfaces, hospitals, or extensive validation increase the quote.

Why is implementation required?
EEG operations touch templates, readiness rules, roles, equipment, authorization, and charge workflows. A structured implementation — discovery, configuration, validation, training, go-live support, and stabilization — is how the product goes live safely. It is priced separately so the subscription reflects the ongoing service, not a hidden setup cost.
Can Axiom work before an Epic or EHR interface is available?
Yes. Most teams go live with secure document upload, email, and fax intake, then add an interface later. A production HL7 order interface (connected through your hospital's interface engine) is a separately scoped add-on or part of Enterprise contracted scope.
Can templates and readiness rules be configured for our organization?
Yes — templates, columns, dropdown lists, readiness rules, checklists, and charge fields are configured per organization, and template changes are versioned with a governed draft-and-publish workflow.
Are users priced individually?
No. Pricing is per organization and operational scope. Clinic includes up to 10 active users; Department and Enterprise support unlimited users within the contracted organization scope.
What happens when a clinic grows?
Nothing breaks — order-volume and user limits are contract signals, not hard stops on patient care. When a Clinic workspace consistently exceeds its scope, we review the plan together and move you to Department terms.
Are HL7/FHIR interfaces included?
Not in Clinic or standard Department implementation. A production HL7 interface is a separately scoped add-on for Department and part of contracted scope for Enterprise. FHIR support is on the roadmap and is never sold as an existing feature.
Is a BAA available?
Axiom OrderFlow runs de-identified/synthetic-data workspaces today; the PHI program (BAAs with our subprocessors, security review, and a Business Associate Agreement with your organization) is completed as part of onboarding a PHI customer. Ask us about the current status for your timeline.
Can we begin with a paid pilot?
Yes — the Axiom Launch Pilot is a scoped, paid evaluation with defined success measures. Pilot fees credit toward implementation when you convert. There is no free trial.
Does Axiom replace the EHR or EEG acquisition system?
No. Axiom OrderFlow coordinates operational work and evidence around EEG orders and studies. It does not replace the EHR, does not acquire or interpret EEG signals, and does not make clinical decisions.
